Smoking behavior is a common phenomenon is happening. Each year the number of smokers is not decreased but has increased a lot. At this time many teenagers aged twelve to fifteen years that have been smoking. According to various studies of smoking can have negative impacts. Teenagers themselves are growth phase that will pass by each individual. In adolescence there are some changes experienced, ranging from physical changes, psychological, and psychosocial development. These changes create new problems, if the individual is not capable of adapting to changes that are happening to him. One determinant of a person's behavior is the belief. Where stated belief in the benefits, impacts, and barriers to determine a person's behavior. Teenagers itself a developmental phase where one lot will have his identity conflicts. Based on these issues makes researchers interested in studying how these images have the belief that early adolescent smoking behavior. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used by researchers is to use methods that are indepth interviews. Researchers also make a blend of interviews to facilitate the researcher in taking data. Interviews addressed to the six teenagers aged twelve to fifteen years, where the subject is characterized by smoking. The analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Validity of data used by researchers is the validity of the method of triangulation of data sources. From the results of research that has been done can be obtained by a variety of faith present in the subject of smoking behavior. These beliefs in the form of profits to come when smoking among others: the desire to be able to forget the problem, look manly and more slang in front of their peers, and ease of accepted peer environment. In addition subjects also believed that the smoking of the subject can be negatively affected by a variety of risks but the six subjects felt that he was still healthy and can control the negative risks of cigarettes, ranging from reducing the number of cigarettes, drinking soda water, and exercise. Another conclusion is obtained subject to assess the barrier is not so strong because the subject was able to control the smoking clandestinely and subjects felt the support from his friends.
