Pembangunan Berbasis Komunitas Dalam Pelaksanaan Program Kota Tanpa Kumuh (KOTAKU) Di Kampung Glintung Kecamatan Blimbing Kota Malang

ABSTRACT

This study aims to explain the problems that arise from the problem. This research focuses on three things, namely community participation at the city and/district level as well as factors that become obstacles to the implementation of the KOTAKU Program. The existence of this research is caused by studies that increase every year. Meanwhile, the concept used in this study is Community-Based Development
This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The data sources used are the results of interviews with several respondents from program implementers such as employees of the Public Works and Public Housing Office, BKM community organizations and NGOs in Glintung Village, Blimbing District, Malang City, journals and books that are in accordance with the research focus. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses three stages including, presenting, entering data, analyzing data.
The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the KOTAKU Program in Malang City is not running as it should. So that at the top level to the lower level there are various existing problems. Furthermore, the concept of Community-Based Development carried out by the people of Kampung Glintung has not been implemented properly. This is indicated by the minimal involvement of the community in the activities carried out. The lack of people involved in implementing the KOTAKU Program in Glintung Village was due to the absence of community leaders in the area. Another thing that hindered the implementation of the KOTAKU Program in Glintung Village, Blimbing District was funds that were not allocated in the village so that the community independently realized the success of the KOTAKU program, as well as the lack of coordination or communication between stakeholders.
