Abstract
Mapping communication skills is one way to get a detailed picture of the situation or the condition of mathematics communication. To know the mapping of mathematical communication skills, then you can use several approaches in mathematics, one that is realistic mathematics approach or Realistic Mathematic Educatin (RME). Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) according HauvelPanhuizen (Inganah, 2003:12): a learning the use of contextual problems and situations in everyday life or real context and to acquire and apply mathematical concepts in everyday life. The problem in question is a form of contextual issues are easily imagined by the child in order to facilitate the learning process and increase understanding of children in learning mathematics. This research is research with a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research that aims to find out how the mapping of students' mathematical communication skills. The object of this research is the third graders at elementary school SDN Dinoyo 3 Malang. The collection of data using observation sheets used to identify students 'mathematical communication skills orally and mapping students' communication skills in verbal and math tests used to know the mathematics communication students in writing and to know what percentage of mathematics communication that reach students in writing. While the analysis of research data using qualitative techniques to identify students' mathematical communication skills. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Mapping of the ability of mathematics communication that students can be done in several ways, among others, are in writing and verbally, from the result of mapping the communication skills of mathematics in primary schools can be seen that the third communication skills of mathematics at the elementary school was good (2) the ability of oral communication in mathematics SDN 2 Dinoyo Malang achieved amounted to 79% and it is considered good, and communication skills in writing mathematics achievement amounted to 82%.
