Abstract

This research is motivated by the unrest conveyed by employees of PT Rantausindu Cilacap. Where employees feel that the salary is not in accordance with the contribution that has been given to the company. From this information, feelings arise that express dissatisfaction with the employees of PT Rantausindu Cilacap. In connection with this phenomenon, this research was conducted on employees of PT Rantausindu Cilacap who have the status of permanent employees with a total of 75 people. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on intention to stay which is mediated by job satisfaction in employees of PT Rantausindu Cilacap. This research uses quantitative methods. The sample technique used in this study is sensus sampling, where the entire population is sampled. Data collection in this study using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses a scale range and Partial Least Square (PLS) 4.0. The results of this scale range calculation show that compensation is included in the good category, intention to stay is included in the high category, and job satisfaction is included in the satisfied category. The results of this study show that compensation has a positive and significant effect on intention to stay, compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a positive and insignificant effect on intention to stay, and job satisfaction mediates the effect which is not significant. compensation for the intention to stay.
