Abstract
Child sexual abuse is a violence to children in sexual way including rape category. Child sexual abuse would influence the next step of child sexual abuse victim. The event would be stick on the sexual abuse victim. Psychological effect including three aspects. They were cognitive, affective, and connative. The effect would be a problem and pressure in coping. There were two kind of coping, they were emotional focus coping and problem focused coping. Psychological effect and coping behavior to the child sexual abuse victim would be different in each development phases. Every development phase has its own characteristic and development duties. The research aimed to find out psychological effect and coping behavior to the child sexual abuse victim from development phases. The research was case study research. Data collection technique used interview. The subject was sexual abuse victim in rape category at childhood phase. The subject consist of two persons. Data analysis used was descriptive analysis. From the research: (1) in childhood, subject A1 was difficult to concentrate, while Subject N1 was confused. In affection, both victims felt afraid and dirty. The behavior was crying and felt ashamed in relationship. The coping was emotional focused coping; (2) In adolescence, A1 in cognitive way accepted child sexual abuse and proper in relationship. In affective way, she still felt anger, sadness and sorry. The behavior showed was forgive the person who has done that to her. Subject N1 thought that everyone could not be believed. Room was the safest place and hard to concentrate since she had intention to revenge. In affection felt afraid, lonely, calmer after telling story and satisfied to make relationship with many boys. Coping form was emotional focused coping; (3) pre-maturity phase was: N1 subject felt that she has no future and considered herself was broken. Felt dirty, broken, not calm and hurt. The behavior were sexual intercourse and crying. Coping form was emotional focused coping.
