Existing forms of social change in coastal communities Paciran Village is a lot of change towards the negative direction. It can be seen with the shift of norms or rules of either religious norms, moral norms, as well as legal norms. And behavior ditinjukan by coastal communities Paciran Village today many heading towards negative, such as: drinking, gambling, promiscuity among young men and women, hostile to neighbors, pecekcokan between husband and wife because of economic affairs. This is the role of a teacher of Islam as a figure who has the authority and charismatic to control and prevent such actions. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the role of religious scholars of social change, the people of coastal villages Paciran and how the forms of social change in coastal communities Paciran Village Village Paciran and purpose in this study is how the role of religious scholars of social change, the people of coastal villages and to know the shape Paciran -shape changes soial Paciran Village coastal communities. In this research used theory is the theory of symbolic interactionism (Mead Goerge) which states that human action is based on the grounds symbol.Metode used in this study is a qualitative method, the location of the coastal area of research is housed in the Village District Paciran Paciran Lamongan, the population is a coastal community Paciran Village community leaders, and three caregivers boarding school, the sample used in this study was purposive sampling and data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation, and technical analysis is a descriptive qualitative data. After the data is analyzed, it can disumpulkan that during the third leadership Kyai are: KH Abdurrahman Syamsuri, KH Ridlwan Sarqowi, KH Azhuri persisir Village community Sarqowi Paciran obey the command of religion, diligent follow Islamic religious studies held by the three religious scholars, the mutual help and mutual help others, as well as coastal communities Paciran Village always obey the rules that have been banned by the three scholars, so if want to do an act that does not comply with Islamic religious teachings they will remember the message or embarrassed by the presence of Kiai-kiai these scholars. There is compliance and trust mesayarakat Paciran on Kyai-Kyainya, comes the charisma that is owned by the third Kyai. And third is daring scholars directly combat any act prohibited by the coastal communities Paciran village in violation of Islamic religion. While scholars now plays an essential role in the advancement of education, but in controlling the rural coastal communities Paciran acts that violate religious teachings of Islam are still lacking.
