Abstract

Schools are educational institutions which are essentially aimed at changing student behavior. The process of changing behavior occurred mainly through communication. Communication in question is the interaction activities between teachers and students in the classroom to deliver or receive messages during the learning and teaching take place. Speech act research teachers in teaching-learning interaction is considered attractive, because this research can produce a description of speech acts used by teachers in classroom intreaksi. The study is titled "Acts of Teachers said the Indonesian Teaching and Learning Interactions in SMA Muhammadiyah I Malang." The problems discussed in this study were (1) type of speech act, (2) speech act function, and (3) mode speech acts. The purpose of this study is to describe (1) type of teacher speech acts, (2) the function of teachers' speech acts, and (3) mode speech act teacher in language teaching and learning interactions in high school traditional Indonesia Muhannadiyah I Malang, which refers to the theory put forward by Austin and Searle on speech acts. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research data be extracted by using two data collection techniques, namely engineering and technical records note. The analysis process carried out since the recording of data to the data collected. Data collected was given to facilitate encoding or number in his analysis. The results of data analysis showed that many kinds of speech acts used by speakers (teachers) that include (1) Type of indirect speech acts literal, performative function, story mode, (2) Type of indirect speech acts literal, function konstatif, news mode , (3) This type of indirect speech acts literal, performative function, ask mode, (4) Type of indirect speech acts literal, function konstatif, question mode, (5) Type of literal speech act immediately, the function konstatif, news mode, (6 ) This type of direct speech acts literal, performative function, mode question, (7) Type of literal speech act immediately, the function konstatif, ask mode, and (8) Type of literal speech act directly, performative function, command mode. Type, function, and mode of speech that is often used speakers (teachers) in teaching and learning that is kind of indirect speech acts literal, performative function, and mode of news compared to other varieties.
