Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) patient or called as Odapus, will experience change in their self both physiology and psychology. Odapus have to receive fact which happen to them because the illness is very dangers and may cause a death. The change which happen to Odapus also will emerge emptiness in life or feel unmeaning to Odapus. Uncomfortable physically and emotionally will be experienced and perceived by patient. Therefore, meaning of life is very important for patient of this illness. This study was carried out to know how process of meaningof life to Odapus. This study is qualitative descriptive, that will describe and explain all of data about meaning of life of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) patient in paragraph sentence form. The data collecting in this study use interview method and documentation to subject. Interview is not just to subject but it is also for others who have information (significant other). The subject in this study is Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) patient who live in Bandung city about 2 respondents. The finding of meaning life is personal nature, for it, the meaning of life is not similar among people. The meaning life of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) patient for their life daily, entirely activity which be done although the activity did not activity physically but that gives benefit, value and it may become goal of life for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) patient or others. The study result show that Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) patient have positive consideration for their life, this evaluation is expressed in submit to their fate without forget to try survive with their illness. Based on the attitude of patient for their life make them never worry for their future, but it also makes them test and find meaning of life significantly and it is just for their happiness.
