Abstract
This study aims to analyze and determine the influence of career development and work environment on job satisfaction through work motivation as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk Sampit Branch Office. Data was collected using questionnaires, with a population of 40 employees and a sample of all employees using saturated sampling techniques. Data analysis is carried out using the path analysis method with the help of SPSS software. The results showed that career development had a significant effect on job satisfaction, the work environment had a significant effect on job satisfaction, career development had no significant effect on work motivation, the work environment had a significant effect on work motivation, work motivation had no significant effect on job satisfaction, work motivation could not mediate career development on job satisfaction and work motivation could not mediate work environment to job satisfaction.
