Abstract

This research aim to know relation between indeks persepsi corporate governance and profitability ratio at inscribed company in Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI). This research applies company sample that is inscribed company in CGPI with the company criterion which expose financial statements and is company non banking. This research applies analyzer Pearson Product Moment Correlation by connecting between scores CGPI and profitability ratio measured with six measurements that is operation profit margin, profit margin before tax, cleanness profit margin, ratio BEP, ROA and ROE. From test result correlation it is mentioned that score CGPI positive correlation to all measurement of profitability ratio applied This thing means f score CGPI increased hence company profitability ratio also will experience improvement. And so do on the contrary, f score CGPI decline hence company profitability ratio also will experience improvement. But, this CGPI score is not the only factor causing company profitability ratio to experience increase or downdraft.
