Abstract

The Spread of import rafinasi sugar in the market makes the economic life of sugar cane farmers worse and worse. This situation requires the farmers to look for new breakhroughs in order to make their sugar cane business exist which can be done by pressing cost‟s and increasing produktion. On Singosari District, Malang Regency, some sugar cane farmers plant sugar canes in fields, and also there are some sugar cane farmers plant them in “tegal” using both early planting pattern and trim planting pattern. The purpose of those planting pattern are done to maximize the productifity of sugar canes, so the income of the farmers can increase. The purpose of this observation is to know the differences between costs and the income of the second trim of sugar cane business planted in fields and “tegal” in Singosari District Malang Regency and also to know the effisiency the second trim of sugar cane business planted in fields and “tegal” in that District. The location of the observasion has beeb determined intentionally and done in Singosari District, Malang Regency. The amount of sample farmers of trimming sugar canes who plants in fields is twelve people by using census methode. The sample farmers who plants in “tegal” is differed into two, the amount of farmers that have field ≤ 2 Ha is 18 people and the amount of farmers who have field > 2 Ha is 8 people. From the result of the observation can be know that there is a difference between cost‟s spent for the secon trim of sugar cane business in field and “tegal” in Singosari District, Malang Regency. The average cost which is has been spent by farmers used field was Rp. 19.211.706,79,- per hectar. The average coct which has been spent by farmers who used “tegal” was Rp. 13.993.597,39,- per hectar. Based on the result of “uji beda t” analysis, cost for the second trim of sugar cane business in field and “tegal” in Singosari District Malang Regency has been found “nilai t” count 9,407 with α = 5%. It showed that there was a significant difference between the second trim of sugar cane business in fields and “tegal‟ in Singosari District Malang Regency. It meant accepting H1 and rejecting H0. Also, from the result of an observation, it has been known that the income using the second trim of sugar cane business in fields in Singosari District Malang Regency was Rp. 9.571.088,27,- per hectar. It show that there is a difference between farmers of the second trim of sugar cane in fields and “tegal” in singosari District Malang Regency. From the result of a “uji beda t” analysis,the income of the second trim of sugar cane business in fields and “tegal” in Singosari District Malang Regency has beeb got “nilai t” count 10,157 > from t Table 2,028, with α = 5%. It shows that there is a significant difference between the second trim of sugar cane business in fields and “tegal” in Singosari District Malang Regency. It meant accepting H1 and rejecting H0. The second trim of sugar cane business in fields and “tegal” in Singosari District Malang Regency showed that the business in fields was 1,5 and in „tegal‟ was 1,34. Because R/C Ratio was more than 1, so it can be concluded that the trim sugar cane business in fields and “tegal” are efficien. From the value of R?C Ratio in fields in higher than “tegal”. So the second trim of sugar cane business in Singosari District Malang Regency is more benefitcial than “tegal”.
