Abstract

The high demands and lack of welfare in the workplace for employees will have an impact on high levels of work engagement. Workplace well-being is an important factor in contributing to work engagement among employees at work. Work engagement is still an interesting topic to research today, because employees are an important aspect to ensure whether an organization or company can develop or not. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of employee psychological well-being at work on employee work engagement. The number of subjects was 180 employees who were taken using a non-random sampling technique, namely purposive sampling, where in this research the sample was determined by determining certain traits or characteristics. In this research, the Workplace Well-Being Index and Utrecht Work Engagement Scale were used. The data analysis method uses simple and multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS version 23 program. The results of data analysis show that workplace well-being has a positive effect on employee work engagement (β=10.047; p=0.000 (p<0.01). Contribution of workplace well-being on work engagement was 0.091. The results of multiple regression analysis found that the core affect aspect had an influence on work engagement.
