Based on the objectives to be achieved on this research on how the application and effectiveness of the word square technique in improving maharah qira'ah at MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu City. In this study, researchers used a quantitative research approach with a pre-experimental type of research. Researchers made MTs Hasyim Asy'ari Batu City as a research site with a sample of MTs VIII class totaling 30 students. The way to collect data conducted by researchers is to use obesrvasion and tests in the form of pretests and posttests. The data analysis used by researchers is descriptive data analysis, validity test, reliability test, normality test, paired T test, and effectiveness test. Application Of The Word Square Technique. In An Effort To Improve Maharah Qira'ah At Mts Hayim Asy'ari Batu City, it went well with the stages of observation, planning, and implementation. So that the results obtained are significant. Likewise with the effectiveness that occurs through the calculation of the Effectiveness test with a result of 82.6 which is in the high category.
