Abstract

Based on 2021 World Bank data, Indonesia's Human Capital Index (HCI) has a score of 9 out of 172 countries & 6th out of 10 ASEAN countries or a fairly low performance. So, certain efforts need to be taken to improve employee performance through discovering the factors that influence it. Employee performance is a result of work behavior in quantity and quality according to previously established goals. So, the aim of this research is to conduct similar research using the same instruments & variables as previous research regarding the influence of self-efficacy and psychological well-being on employee performance. The research method used is non-experimental quantitative with a correlational design. The sampling technique in this research was Quota Sampling with a total sample of 152 active employees in Indonesia. This research uses 3 measuring instruments for each variable, General Self-efficacy Scale (GSES), Psychological Well-Being Scale (RPWB) and Individual Work Performance (IWP). The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, with the results that self-efficacy and psychological well-being influence employee performance both simultaneously and partially with a significance value of 0.000 (P<0.05), and a contribution of (R Square = 0.603).
