Abstract

Issue: This research aims to address the problem of children's early reading education easily becoming boring, with an adaptive design solution tailored to users' characteristics and needs to foster learning interest. Method: The study employs the UX Journey method to integrate user experiences and considers previous research highlighting the effectiveness of gamification in children's reading education. Various features such as letter recognition, picture guessing games, syllable recognition, and voice interactions were tested and developed to create an adaptive design solution aligned with user needs. Results: Testing results using A/B Testing and meeting Acceptance Criteria indicate that the "Abjad Ajaib" application successfully meets user needs. New features received positive responses, indicating the effectiveness of the adaptive design solution. Conclusion and Development: This research demonstrates that the UX Journey method and gamification strategies can be integrated into design due to the positive responses from users towards children's reading learning. It's essential to continually optimize adaptive design solutions and consider further integration of gamification elements to aid children's reading education on this platform, with the potential to enrich the learning experience.
