This research discusses the dynamics of bilateral relations between Indonesia and Australia after the 2013 Espionage. The author in this research is interested in studying more regarding the process of resolving problems between these two countries so that relations become stable again, especially in bilateral relations. The aim of this research is to analyze the dynamics of bilateral relations after the espionage case occurred in 2013. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive research type in order to describe the various information and analyzes that will be researched. The results of this research show that bilateral relations between Australia and Indonesia after the 2013 wiretapping, are still experiencing up-and-down dynamics, namely in 2014 it improved, then in 2015 it got worse again, and it improved again in 2016-2019. The espionage case committed by Australia against Indonesia caused the two countries, which had initially improved, to become apart again. In response to this case, the President of Indonesia issued six policies to resolve it, one of which was by re-establishing several collaborations, the Australian government itself approved the policy issued by President SBY, and promised not to do anything that would cause harm to Indonesia in the future.
