Abstract

Strengthening the values of religious moderation at the elementary school level requires a digital transformation. This study aims to describe the integration of Chromebooks in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning to strengthen religious moderation in the 6th grade at SDS Muhammadiyah 6 Lhokseumawe, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The results of the study indicate that the strengthening of religious moderation values is carried out through the mapping of Learning Achievements, Learning Objectives, Learning Objective Flows, Teaching Modules, and Student Worksheets. Supporting factors in the implementation include the availability of Chromebook facilities, internet access, school support for digital learning innovation, the teacher's role as a facilitator, and the students' ability to use digital devices. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include curricular aspects, methodology, teacher competence, and the sub-optimal use of devices. The researcher concludes that Chromebook integration can support the strengthening of religious moderation values in a more effective, adaptive, and interactive manner. It is recommended as an alternative model for character-based digital classroom learning.
