Abstract

The abolition of housing subsidies by the government has led to a decline in housing purchasing power, presenting a challenge for property agency marketing employees to explore new innovations. Innovative Work Behavior can be influenced by psychological factors such as Grit. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Grit on Innovative Work Behavior among property agent employees. This study employed a quantitative approach with a total of 173 employees as subjects, selected through purposive sampling technique. The research instruments used were an adapted version of the Grit-S Scale and an adapted version of the Innovative Work Behavior (IWB) Scale. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that Grit has a positive and significant effect on Innovative Work Behavior. The contribution of Grit to Innovative Work Behavior was 35.6%, while the remaining 64.4% was influenced by other variables.
