Abstract

This study aims to analyse PJOK (Physical Education, Sports, and Health) teachers’ perceptions of the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) as a co-curricular program, and to identify strategies used by teachers in designing and implementing learning integrated with the eight graduate profile dimensions. The research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Bojonegoro, a school that has adopted the Merdeka Curriculum and actively implemented P5. The research employed a qualitative approach with narrative inquiry, emphasising the exploration of teachers’ experiences through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were analysed using thematic matrices to identify patterns of perception and strategies in integrating Pancasila values into co-curricular activities. The findings reveal that PJOK teachers hold positive perceptions of P5, evolving from curiosity to acceptance and habituation. These perceptions are influenced by intrinsic motivation, positive emotions, and support from the school and external partners. The strategies of PJOK teachers are characterised by structured planning, project-based implementation, cross-subject and external collaboration, and authentic evaluation. Activities include creative gymnastics, traditional games, and healthy lifestyle education, which not only enhance physical fitness but also instil character values such as cooperation, discipline, and independence. The study concludes that PJOK plays a strategic role in integrating the Pancasila Student Profile through P5, with implications for policy support, continuous training, and adequate facilities.
