FAKTOR – FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEPUTUSAN PETANI TERHADAP PENJUALAN JAGUNG PIPIL BASAH DAN JAGUNG PIPIL KERING DI DESA GENENG KECAMATAN MARGOMULYO KABUPATEN BOJONEGORO

Corn is one of the agricultural commodities that plays an important role as a food source, animal feed, and industrial raw material. The increasing demand for corn each year encourages farmers in Geneng Village to choose between selling their harvest as wet shelled corn or dried shelled corn. This study aims to analyze the effects of corn price, land ownership status, and farmers’ experience on the decision to sell wet shelled corn and dried shelled corn, as well as to determine the most dominant factor influencing farmers’ decisions. This research employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive quantitative method. The data consisted of primary data obtained through interviews and questionnaires involving 80 corn farmers selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using binary logistic regression with goodness of fit test, classification table, omnibus test, pseudo R², Wald test, and odds ratio analysis. The results showed that the logistic regression model had a classification accuracy rate of 98.8% with a Nagelkerke R² value of 0.960. The simultaneous test results indicated that corn price, land ownership status, and farmers’ experience had a significant effect on corn selling decisions. The partial test results showed that corn price had a significant effect on the decision to sell wet shelled corn and dried shelled corn, while land ownership status and farmers’ experience had no significant effect. The odds ratio results revealed that corn price was the most dominant factor influencing farmers’ decisions.
