Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, compensation, and organizational culture on teachers' job satisfaction at Muhammadiyah Vocational High School 2 Pekanbaru. The study is motivated by the importance of teachers' job satisfaction as one of the key factors determining the quality of educational implementation, particularly in Muhammadiyah schools that integrate Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah values into organizational management. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The study population consisted of 74 teachers and educational staff, all of whom were included as the research sample using the census technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire that had met the validity and reliability requirements and were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software.
The results indicate that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on teachers' job satisfaction (β = 0.402; t = 2.869; p = 0.005), compensation has a positive and significant effect on teachers' job satisfaction (β = 0.320; t = 2.026; p = 0.047), and organizational culture also has a positive and significant effect on teachers' job satisfaction (β = 0.211; t = 2.083; p = 0.041). Among these three variables, leadership style is the most dominant factor influencing teachers' job satisfaction. The findings suggest that the implementation of participative leadership, a fair compensation system, and an organizational culture based on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah values can significantly enhance teachers' job satisfaction within the school environment.
This study contributes to the development of educational management research, particularly in the context of Muhammadiyah schools, and provides a basis for school administrators in formulating policies to strengthen leadership practices, improve compensation systems, and develop organizational culture in order to enhance teachers' job satisfaction.
