Abstract

Development of Enrichment-Based Biodiversity Learning Module on Environmental Literacy Ability of Class X Students of MA Al-Ishlah Paciran Lamongan

ABSTRACT
This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective enrichment-based biodiversity learning module for the environmental literacy ability of students in class X of MA Al-Ishlah Paciran Lamongan. The research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The research subjects consisted of 60 students divided into experimental classes and control classes. Data was collected using expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, knowledge tests, attitude and behavior questionnaires, and skill assessment sheets. Data analysis was carried out through validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test, and N-Gain tests. The results of the study showed that the developed modules had a very good feasibility level with a validation score of 92 material experts, 93.50 media experts, and 121.50 practitioners. The practicality of the module obtained a percentage of 81.38% with the category of very practical. The results of the paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test showed a significance value of < 0.05, so that the module had a significant effect on the literacy of the students' environment. The result of N-Gain knowledge was 33.31%, attitude 42.88%, behavior 42.92%, and skills were in the medium category. Thus, the enrichment-based biodiversity learning module is declared valid, practical, and effective to improve students' environmental literacy.
