Abstract
The development of social media has encouraged creative industry players, including wedding organizers, to utilize Instagram as a branding and communication tool with their audiences. One strategy employed is storytelling, a technique used to convey messages through stories that build emotional connection with the audience. The Instagram account @kamuflaseorganizer is a wedding organizer that utilizes storytelling strategies in its content packaging to build its brand image and identity. This study aims to determine how storytelling content is packaged on the @kamuflaseorganizer Instagram account.
This study used a content analysis method with a qualitative interpretative approach. Data were obtained through digital documentation of @kamuflaseorganizer's Instagram content. The analysis was conducted by examining Klaus Fog's storytelling branding elements, including message, conflict, character, and plot, in each uploaded content.
The results of this study indicate that the @kamuflaseorganizer Instagram account packages storytelling content by emphasizing emotional messages, stories of bridal couples, and storylines that are close to the audience's lives. The use of visual elements, captions, and narratives in its content helps build an emotional connection between the brand and its followers. The storytelling also strengthens the account's branding as a warm, personal, and authentic wedding organizer.
