Abstract
Technostress has a negative impact on employees’ physical and psychological well-being, which ultimately has the potential to reduce performance quality and workplace well-being. Each generation has distinct characteristics in the workplace. This study aims to describe the levels of technostress among employees at Company X, focusing on the characteristics of Generation X, Generation Y, and Generation Z. This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach and involves 108 employees at Fighter Corporation selected via total sampling. The research instrument utilized a technostress scale covering the dimensions of techno-overload, techno-invasion, techno-complexity, techno-insecurity, and techno-uncertainty. The analysis technique employed in this study utilized descriptive statistics. The results indicate that, overall, employees’ technostress levels fall into the moderate category. When examined by generation, Generations Y and Z tend to fall into the moderate technostress category, while Generation X exhibits a tendency toward relatively high technostress levels. When examined by demographic data, employees also tend to experience moderate technostress.
