PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN GAME ROBLOX TERHADAP PERILAKU SOSIAL (Studi Survei Pada Anak SD Muhammadiyah 9 “Panglima Sudirman” Kota Malang)

The increasing intensity of online game use, especially Roblox, is a phenomenon that has the potential to influence the social behavior of elementary school students. This study aims to analyze the effect of Roblox game use on the social behavior of students at Muhammadiyah 9 Elementary School "Panglima Sudirman" Malang City. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method, with a sample of 144 respondents determined through a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert Scale-based questionnaire and analyzed through validity and reliability tests, as well as simple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results showed that Roblox game use had a positive and significant effect on students' social behavior. This is evidenced by the regression coefficient value of 0.730 and a significance value <0.001. In addition, the coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.771 indicates that Roblox game use contributed 77.1% to students' social behavior. Thus, Roblox game use as indicated by the intensity of play, duration of use, and interaction in the game influences students' social behavior, especially in aspects of interpersonal communication, empathy, cooperation, and social participation.
