This study aims to understand the dynamics of the development of Islamic parties in post-reformation Indonesia and to find out the causes of their stagnation. This research method is included in the category of library research, namely research whose subject matter includes secondary data sources in the form of library book journals, online media or previous magazines. The results of this study are able to help Islamic parties to become better and to answer the challenges of today's Islamic parties for the sake of success in the future. The weakness of this research is that the author still uses document data so that the next research. Researchers used primary data, which was obtained through field research, interviews and others.
