Abstract

Road construction work is an activity that has a high level of risk of work accidents and environmental impacts, so it is necessary to implement a planned and sustainable Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management System (SMK3L). Optimal implementation of SMK3L is expected to create safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly working conditions and increase labor productivity. This study aims to analyze the effect of SMK3L implementation on labor productivity in the advanced rehabilitation construction work on Ki Ageng Gribig Street, Malang City. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey through the distribution of questionnaires to project workers. After obtaining primary data, a modeling analysis was carried out using the SEM-PLS 4.0 application by conducting several tests such as testing the initial model (outer model) namely convergent validity, construct reliability, and discriminant validity. The final model testing (inner model) is the R-square test, path coefficient test, t-statistic test, Q-square test, model fit test, and hypothesis test. The results of the modeling analysis show how much influence or not and the level of significance with the path coefficient test value, the K3L implementation variable and the work environment variable have a significant effect on the labor productivity variable with the T-statistic value of the implementation variable obtained by the K3L value = 1.658> (T-table = 1.65) and the T-statistic value of the work environment variable = 2.249> (T-table = 1.65). While the labor variable does not have a significant effect on the labor productivity variable with the T-statistic value = 1.067 < (T-table = 1.65). It can be concluded that indirectly the higher the professional labor training, the lower the labor productivity, but the higher the implementation of K3L can increase labor productivity by 31.9% and the higher the quality of the labor environment can increase labor productivity by 34.8%.
