VALIDASI BUKU CERITA “LANGKAH KECIL KEBENARAN” UNTUK MENSTIMULASI PENALARAN MORAL PADA ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR

The challenge of developing children's moral character in the digital era has become increasingly complex. Common violations among students include arriving late, not bringing textbooks or school supplies, and failing to complete assignments on time. These issues indicate a lack of understanding and internalization of moral values within the school environment. This study aims to examine the validity of the storybook “Langkah Kecil Kebenaran” in stimulating moral reasoning among elementary school students. This study employed a research and development (R&D) approach involving two experts and six third-grade students from an elementary school in Malang Regency. The research subjects were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The validation results showed that the experts’ evaluations were in the high category. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test using the Wilcoxon test indicated a p-value of
0.031 (p < 0.05), demonstrating a significant difference after the implementation of the storybook. In conclusion, the storybook “Langkah Kecil Kebenaran” developed in this study is considered valid, feasible, and effective in enhancing moral reasoning among elementary school students. The findings are expected to contribute to the fields of education, particularly in the development of story-based learning media, as well as to the study of child developmental psychology.
