Abstract
Abstrak: Berdasarkan beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemandirian anak usia dini masih tergolong rendah, khususnya di Indonesia. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan uji validasi buku cerita “Edo Si Anak Hebat” sebagai media untuk menstimulasi kemandirian anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif yang berfokus pada pengumpulan serta analisis data numerik yang diperoleh dari hasil validasi isi. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 orang ahli desain dan 2 orang ahli psikologi serta 5 anak TK kelompok B. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket/kuisioner dan observasi eksperimental. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Aiken’s (v) pada hasil angket serta uji deskriptif, uji normalitas dan uji hipotesi pada hasil observasi eksperimental. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukakan bahwa uji ahli desain memperoleh nilai V sebesar 0,625-0,875 (valid), uji ahli psikologi memperoleh nilai V sebesar 0,500-1,000 (valid). Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan kemandirian anak setelah dibacakan buku cerita (p = .001, > .05). Dengan demikian, buku cerita “Edo Si Anak Hebat” dinyatakan layak dan efektif untuk menstimulasi kemandirian anak usia dini.
Abstract: Based on several studies, it is shown that the level of independence of early childhood is still relatively low, especially in Indonesia. One effort that can be done is through the development of learning media. This study aims to conduct a validation test of the storybook "Edo Si Anak Hebat" as a medium to stimulate the independence of early childhood. This study uses a quantitative design that focuses on the collection and analysis of numerical data obtained from the results of content validation. The subjects of this study consisted of 2 design experts and 2 psychology experts as well as 5 kindergarten children group B. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The data collection method was carried out through questionnaires and experimental observations. The data analysis technique used Aiken's (v) on the questionnaire results
as well as descriptive tests, normality tests and hypothesis tests on the results of experimental observations. The results of this study show that the design expert test obtained a V value of 0.625-0.875 (valid), the psychology expert test obtained a V value of 0.500-1.000 (valid). In addition, there was a significant increase in children's independence after being read the storybook (p = .001, > .05). Thus, the storybook "Edo the Great Child" was declared suitable and effective for stimulating independence in early childhood.
