PENGARUH CAREER ADAPTABILITY TERHADAP FEAR OF FAILURE PADA MAHASISWA VOKASI DALAM PERSIAPAN DI DUNIA KERJA

Transisi dari pendidikan ke dunia kerja sering menimbulkan tekanan psikologis pada mahasiswa vokasi, terutama fear of failure. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh career adaptability terhadap fear of failure pada mahasiswa vokasi yang sedang mempersiapkan diri memasuki dunia kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional pada 301 mahasiswa vokasi di Jawa Timur yang dipilih melalui teknik accidental sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS) dan Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory (PFAI), dianalisis dengan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa career adaptability berpengaruh signifikan terhadap fear of failure dengan kontribusi sebesar 28,4%, di mana semakin tinggi career adaptability, semakin rendah fear of failure.

The transition from education to the workforce often creates psychological pressure for vocational students, particularly fear of failure. This study aims to examine the effect of career adaptability on fear of failure among vocational students preparing to enter the workforce. This research employed a quantitative correlational design with 301 vocational students in East Java selected through accidental sampling. Data were collected using the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS) and the Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory (PFAI), and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that career adaptability significantly influences fear of failure, contributing 28.4% to its variance, where higher career adaptability is associated with lower fear of failure.
