Abstract

Digital transformation in laundry services is becoming increasingly important amidst increasing user demands for efficiency and convenience. This study aims to design a mobile laundry service application that prioritizes user experience through a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. In the context of fast-paced modern life, the need for efficient and accessible laundry services is increasing. The designed laundry application is expected to address user issues, such as long queues and lack of service information. The UCD method is implemented through four main steps: understanding the context of use, determining user needs, designing a solution, and conducting an evaluation. The results show that the online reservation feature and real-time laundry status monitoring are important elements highly appreciated by users. Testing was conducted using the Cognitive Walkthrough method and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to evaluate effectiveness and user satisfaction. The results indicate that the designed application meets high usability values, which ultimately can improve the overall user experience. This research makes a significant contribution to laundry application development and suggests the need for regular evaluation and user involvement in future development processes.
