Abstract
This study is motivated by the declining level of employee work engagement, which impacts productivity and the achievement of organizational goals. This indicates that organizations need to pay greater attention to employee engagement comprehensively. One psychological factor assumed to influence work engagement is emotional maturity, defined as the ability to understand, manage, and appropriately express emotions. This study aims to examine the relationship between emotional maturity and work engagement among employees in limited liability companies. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. A total of 250 employees were selected using probability sampling with a simple random sampling technique. The instruments used were the emotional maturity scale and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-9). Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis. The results showed a significant positive relationship between kematangan emosi and work engagement, with a correlation coefficient of 0.571 (p < 0.001 < 0,05). This finding indicates that emotional conditions play an important role in shaping employee engagement. The implications highlight the importance of developing emotional regulation skills to enhance employee engagement and support organizational effectiveness.
