ANALISIS SOSIAL TENTANG PERNIKAHAN USIA ANAK TERHADAP POTENSI TERJADINYA STUNTING. (STUDI KUALITATIF DI DESA BULUKERTO, KOTA BATU)

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of child marriageand its relationship with the incidence of stunting in Bulukerto Village through a social analysis approach. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to obtain an understanding of the social conditions of the community related to the practice of child marriageand the occurrence of stunting. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation with research subjects who married under the age of 19 years, as well as supporting informants including village midwives, health cadres, and village officials. Data analysis was conducted through stages of social analysis which include determining the object of study, identifying social problems, exploring causal factors, analyzing the roles of social actors, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that child marriageis still found in Bulukerto Village; however, no impact on the incidence of stunting among children from families who married at an early age. Based on the perspective of social analysis, this condition is influenced by various other factors such as parenting patterns, fulfillment of children's nutritional needs, family support, as well as the role of health workers and the village government in providing education and health services to the community.
