Abstract

The clean water crisis in Crewek Village, Kradenan District, Grobogan Regency remains a major issue due to the community’s reliance on unstable water sources, namely deep groundwater wells whose availability is not consistently sufficient throughout the seasons. One effort to overcome this clean water crisis is through the planning of reservoir construction and clean water distribution systems. This report aims to plan the reservoir system and clean water distribution network as an effort to reduce the clean water crisis based on comprehensive technical analysis. The methods used include hydrological analysis to determine the design flood discharge with a 50-year return period and dependable discharge of 80% for clean
water distribution. Hydraulic analysis was conducted using WaterGEMS software to determine the distribution flow paths to service areas and to design system operations. In addition, slope stability analysis of retaining walls was carried out using GeoSlope software with the Bishop method. The analysis results indicate that
the service area has varying elevations (+58 m to +82 m), requiring three reservoirs and three pumps to distribute clean water effectively. Stability analysis shows that the designed retaining walls are safe against overturning, sliding, and slope failure under both normal and extreme conditions. The cost estimation (RAB) indicates that the total construction cost for the reservoir and clean water distribution network is Rp 12,318,329,525.00. Furthermore, the economic feasibility analysis shows that the project is viable, as it provides greater benefits
than the costs incurred and has the potential to improve community welfare. With the implementation of the reservoir and clean water distribution system planning, it is expected to reduce the potential for clean water shortages in Crewek Village.
