Abstract

The development of information technology is driving digital transformation in higher education. The University of Muhammadiyah Malang developed the MyUMM Student application as a mobile-based academic information system to
facilitate students in accessing various services, including financial, KHS, attendance, and other academic information. This study aims to measure the level of usability and user satisfaction of the financial feature in the MyUMM Student
application using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. Data were collected through a SUS questionnaire distributed to 5 active students of the UMM Informatics Engineering Study Program. The questionnaire consisted of 10
statements with a Likert scale of 1–5 measuring ease of use, efficiency, and user satisfaction. Each statement was calculated using the SUS formula: odd-numbered statements (positive) with the formula Px – 1, even-numbered statements (negative) with the formula 5 – Pn, the total score then multiplied by 2.5, and the average calculated across all respondents. The results showed that the MyUMM Student
application obtained an average SUS score of 72, categorized as "Acceptable" with a Grade Scale of "C" and an Adjective Rating of "Good". Most respondents found the financial feature easy to use, although several aspects still require improvement
related to feature consistency and information clarity. Recommendations include refining the navigation flow, providing guidance for new users, and fixing confusing features to optimally enhance the user experience.
