Abstract
This final assignment dissects production management on the Foryourplate.id website, because the website that discusses culinary focuses on culinary in East Java. Although there are already websites that discuss culinary, there are still few that focus on typical East Javanese culinary. The scope of the final assignment includes managerial activities and digital content strategies on news portals. The main objective of the final assignment is to understand how the implementation of management functions and workflow strategies affects the effectiveness of content as measured by the views indicator on the Foryourplate.id news portal. The work method used is POAC on the Foryourplate.id website for the period July-January 2025. Starting from pre-production research where the activities are topic validation, data analysis and assignment decisions. The second step is production design where the activities are editorial preparation, personalization of responsibilities, codification of SOPs. The third step is production implementation where the activities are providing direction, communication supervision, and gatekeeping. The fourth step is monitoring where the activities are supervision of SOP implementation, editorial curation and monitoring. The fifth step is evaluation, which is the final step, which is the time for analyzing performance data with Google Analytics and insights on social media and evaluating team performance managerial to determine whether changes are needed in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) changes. The results of this final project show that Foryourplate.id production management has a systematic workflow through SOPs that guarantee quality consistency from pre- to post-production. The role of the Editor-in-Chief has proven crucial in carrying out managerial functions to maintain the team's work rhythm. A shift towards market-driven journalism was found, where managerial routines are constructed to respond to audience behavior and the dynamics of the digital media ecosystem in order to maintain content relevance.
