Abstract

Based on the analysis conducted by the researcher through observations and interviews with teachers and first grade students of SDN Rembang 1, it is clear that the use of teaching materials at SDN Rembang 1, especially in first grade, is still limited, only using regular textbooks and worksheets. Therefore, students often lose focus during the learning process. The teaching materials used are also not based on Pasuruan local wisdom, so not many students are familiar with Pasuruan local wisdom. Therefore, students need teaching materials with digital innovations that can improve their motivation and learning outcomes. The researcher developed a flip book teaching material product based on Pasuruan local wisdom to assist students in learning activities. This research was conducted to produce a mathematics flipbook teaching material on plane figures for first-grade elementary school students.
The research model used was the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and student evaluation questions.
The result of this research is a mathematics flipbook teaching material based on Pasuruan local wisdom on plane figures. This teaching material is digital and was converted using the website heyzine.com. Prior to the trial, the flipbook teaching material underwent a validation process by expert lecturers and teachers. The results of the material validation were 94%, the teaching material validation was 87.5%, and the local wisdom validation was 89.3%, which met the criteria of "Suitable for Use." Furthermore, the questionnaire results showed a student response rate of 93.7%, and a teacher response rate of 91.6%. The research results indicate that the flipbook teaching material is quite effective in supporting learning activities in schools. However, this Flip Book teaching material still has many shortcomings that can be improved by future researchers.
