REPRESENTASI RADIKALISME DALAM SERIES “BIDA’AH”: TINJAUAN NILAI KETUHANAN DALAM PANCASILA DAN IMPLIKASINYA BAGI MAHASISWA

Radicalism is an ideology that demands drastic change, often accompanied by the use of violence. In a religious context, radicalism is often manifested through intolerance, exclusivity, and claims of a single truth that deny diversity. This study aims to examine the representation of radicalism in the Bida'ah series and analyze its relevance to the value of Belief in the One Almighty God in Pancasila and its implications for students as the younger generation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a content analysis method. Data collection was conducted through observation of scenes and dialogues in the series, documentation studies, and interviews with students. Data analysis focused on narratives, dialogues, and visuals that represent the practice of religious radicalism and the messages of national values contained therein. The results show that radicalism in the Bida'ah series is represented through indoctrination, absolute obedience to religious leaders, and the legitimization of deviant acts and violence in the name of religious teachings. On the other hand, the value of Belief in the One Almighty God in Pancasila presents as a counter-narrative that emphasizes the principles of tolerance, religious moderation, and respect for humanity and diversity. Interviews with students revealed a critical awareness of the dangers of radicalism, although some respondents felt that the representation of radicalism in the series still tended to be stereotypical. This finding underscores the importance of strengthening media literacy and religious literacy in civics education as an effort to counter radicalism and strengthen students' national character.
