INTERNALISASI NILAI MODERASI BERAGAMA DI SMA ISLAM DIPONEGORO WAGIR

This thesis discusses the process of internalizing the values of religious moderation at SMA Islam Diponegoro Wagir as an effort to build a tolerant, inclusive, and balanced religious attitude amid the increasing challenges of intolerance and radicalism in the educational environment. This study aims to examine the concepts, strategies, and implications of the internalization of religious moderation values in an Islamic school that accepts students from different religious backgrounds. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the internalization of religious moderation values is carried out systematically through the stages of value transformation, value transaction, and value transinternalization, which are integrated into school policies, learning processes, student activities, and an inclusive school culture. The school provides equal opportunities for Muslim and non-Muslim students through joint learning activities, the provision of religious education according to their respective beliefs, freedom of expression, and active participation in school activities. The implications of this process are reflected in the development of attitudes of tolerance, national commitment, anti-violence, and respect for diversity, so that religious moderation is not merely a normative concept but is manifested in the daily practices of school life.
