Abstract

The data updating or enrollment procedure for retired customers is a crucial stage in banking services aimed at ensuring the accuracy of information and the smooth disbursement of monthly pension funds. PT. Bank Jatim (Persero) Tbk. Malang Branch carries out this procedure through several stages, including identity verification, form completion, document validation, biometric data collection, and activation of a digital authentication system in collaboration with Taspen. During its implementation, retired customers often encounter obstacles such as limited technological literacy, data discrepancies between physical documents and digital records, and a lack of understanding regarding the procedures involved. Therefore, the active role of bank staff in providing assistance and maintaining empathetic communication is essential to ensure a smooth process. Additionally, offering userfriendly informational materials like illustrated guides and enhancing elderlyfriendly service facilities are important components in supporting successful enrollment. This process goes beyond mere administration and reflects the adaptability and quality of banking services tailored to the needs of a loyal and distinct customer segment.
