Abstract

The rapid economic and technological developments in recent years have reshaped the structure and demands of the labor market, requiring individuals to adapt effectively to ongoing changes. These conditions position career adaptability as an essential competency, influenced by various factors, including age, as experience and psychological maturity tend to increase over time. Considering that the Indonesian workforce is predominantly composed of millennials and generation Z, this study aims to examine differences in career adaptability between these two generational groups. This research employed a quantitative method with a comparative design and used accidental sampling, involving 350 respondents measured using the Career Adapt-Ability Scale (CAAS). Data were analyzed using an Independent Samples T-test through the JASP software. The results indicate that there is no significant difference in career adaptability between millennials and generation Z, with a significance value of 0.269 (p>0.05), suggesting that both generations exhibit relatively similar levels of career adaptability.
