Abstract
The development of digital technology and changes in lifestyle have encouraged increasingly complex consumption patterns among university students, which may affect their financial behavior. At the same time, religiosity and financial literacy are believed to play an important role in shaping responsible financial management. This study aims to analyze the effects of religiosity, financial literacy, financial technology, and lifestyle on students’ financial behavior. This study involves religiosity, financial literacy, financial technology, and lifestyle as independent variables, and financial behavior as the dependent variable. The main hypothesis states that religiosity, financial literacy, financial technology, and lifestyle influence students’ financial behavior. This study employs a quantitative associative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to examine the relationships among variables. The results indicate that religiosity, financial literacy, financial technology, and lifestyle have a significant effect on students’ financial behavior, therefore all research hypotheses are accepted. The study concludes that the integration of religious values, financial knowledge, technology utilization, and lifestyle management plays a crucial role in shaping students’ financial behavior. These findings provide implications for strengthening financial education and policy development in higher education institutions.
