EFEKTIVITAS HUKUM PENGGUNAAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENCALONAN (SILON) DALAM PENDAFTARAN BACALEG PADA MASA PROSES TAHAPAN PENDAFTARAN PEMILU 2024 (Studi Putusan Bawaslu Kota Malang Nomor Register Perkara 001/PS.REG/35.3573/X/2023)

The writing concerns a study of the process of resolving election disputes during the registration stage which was caused by an error when uploading files which were requirements for Legislator registration. In the author's research, the author used empirical research. Empirical method research is research that aims to study symptoms, events and phenomena that occur in communities, institutions and countries that do not have the characteristics of libraries by observing phenomena that exist in society. As well as a sociological approach or sociolegal research, namely a research approach that studies the legal perceptions and behavior of people (individuals and legal entities) who operate in fields related to the problems researched by the author. Based on the results of the research that we have obtained, we know that: 1. The emergence of election disputes during the Legislative Election registration process which was submitted to Bawaslu was due to the ineffectiveness of using SILON as a tool in which checking of files was only carried out through data checking without any physical checking. 2. The institution with authority to resolve election disputes is Bawaslu in accordance with the rules contained in Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections Article 95 Paragraph (1) concerning the authority of Bawaslu, where the KPU as the Respondent with the first settlement process uses the Mediation method however If unsuccessful, an Adjudication hearing will automatically be held.
