Abstract

The phenomenon of increasing numbers of part-time students in Malang City who juggle the dual roles of student and worker often causes an imbalance between academic demands, work, and personal life, which leads to physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion or burnout. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effects of work-life balance, incentives, and workload on burnout among part-time students in Malang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 100 part-time students selected by purposive sampling, analyzed using SPSS 25, and the results show that work-life balance and incentives have a negative and insignificant effect on burnout, while workload has a positive and significant effect on burnout. Therefore, work-life balance, fair incentives, and proper workload management are important factors in reducing the level of burnout among part-time students.
