Abstract

The planning of the Tsurayya Islamic Boarding School Dormitory Building, located at Jalan Kraguman, Bulurejo, Petungsewu, Dau District, Malang Regency, East Java Province, aims to expand the facility's capacity. With this additional space, it is expected that the required capacity target will be fulfilled.
The results of the planning for the Tsurayya Islamic Boarding School Dormitory Building utilize a reinforced concrete structure and pile foundations. The design of structural components includes slabs with a thickness of 12 cm, columns with dimensions of 60 x 60 cm, main beams (Type 1) with dimensions of 50 x 70 cm, and secondary beams (Type 1 and 2) with dimensions of 25 x 50 cm and 20 x 40 cm, referring to SNI 2847:2019, SNI 1727:2020, SNI 1726:2019, and PMK RI No. 40 of 2022. This planning scope covers the upper structure, substructure, plumbing, and construction management. Structural analysis was conducted using ETABS version 2024 software, with input loads consisting of dead load, superimposed dead load, live load, and earthquake load.
