Abstract

The planning of the Laboratory Building Construction of the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Malang was carried out as an effort to develop educational and research facilities that meet national building construction standards. The laboratory building structure planning uses a reinforced concrete frame system and uses a pile foundation. The laboratory building has 4 floors that function as laboratory rooms. Located in East Java and this building is an educational facility, therefore this building is planned to use a special moment resisting frame system (SRPMK). Structural planning refers to SNI 2847:2019, SNI 1726:2019, SNI 1727:2020. Structural analysis is assisted by ETABS software, taking into account dead loads, live loads, and earthquake loads. The result of the planning is a comprehensive technical design for the construction of a laboratory building that functions optimally and ensures strength, safety and functionality.
