Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of Competence and Flexibility on Employee Productivity with Work Motivation as a mediating variable at PT. Djulita. This research applies a quantitative approach with a causal associative research type. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 70 respondents. This study employed a census method or saturated sampling technique. The data analysis techniques used in this research included scale Range Analysis and Path Analysis, assisted by SmartPLS (Partial Least Squares) software. The results of the analysis indicate that Competence has a positive and significant effect on Employee Productivity, while Flexibility has a positive but not significant effect on Employee Productivity. In addition, Competence and Flexibility have a positive and significant effect on Work Motivation. Work Motivation is proven to have a positive and significant effect on Employee Productivity and is able to mediate the effect of Competence and Flexibility on Employee Productivity at PT. Djulita. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that improving Employee Productivity at PT. Djulita does not solely depend on Competence and Flexibility, but is also strongly influenced by employees’ Work Motivation.
