Abstract
This study aims to: (1) determine the development of an electronic PAI module with moral content based on blended learning, (2) produce a suitable E-Module, (3) produce a practical E-Module, and (4) produce an E-Module that effectively improves PAI learning outcomes for Grade X students at SMKN 1 Kedawung, Cirebon Regency. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research sample involved 103 students for needs analysis, 30 students for effectiveness testing, and 3 expert validators (material, media, and language). The analysis tools used included a paired sample t-test for effectiveness testing, Effect Size (Cohen’s d), Normalized Gain Score (N-Gain), and descriptive analysis for validity and practicality. The results showed that: (1) The E-Module was developed using a self-blend learning model with a 70% online and 30% offline ratio that was responsive to the 92.1% of students’ preference for mobile access; (2) The E-Module obtained a feasibility level of 88.9% (Very Feasible category) based on expert validation of material (95%), media (82.7%), and language (89%); (3) The E-Module obtained a practicality level of 84.25% (Practical category) from the perspective of students (86%) and teachers (82.5%); (4) The E-Module-Module proved to be effective with a t-count value of 9.847 > t-table 2.045 (p < 0.05), Cohen’s d Effect Size = 2.25 (very large effect), N-Gain 0.53 (moderate improvement), and learning completeness increased from 26.7% to 93.3%. The conclusion of this study is that the E-Module PAI with moral content based on blended learning using the self-blend learning model has been proven to be feasible, practical, and effective in improving the learning outcomes of vocational school students.
