Abstract

The high potential for workplace accidents in the manufacturing sector requires companies to not only fulfill their Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) obligations, but also ensure that training programs produce measurable social and economic impacts. This study aims to analyze the Social Return on Investment (SROI) value of the HSE Training Program at PT Barata Indonesia in supporting the achievement of zero accidents and its contribution to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with SROI evaluative analysis based on workplace accident data for the 2023–2025 period, pre-test and post-test results, program cost data, and interviews. The SROI analysis results show that the ratio value based on the Present Value (PV) calculation is 4.78 and the Future Value (FV) calculation is 5.24. This ratio value indicates that the HSE Training Program is worth maintaining and develop as a strategic social investment that supports work safety, company sustainability, and contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
