Abstract

Sexual harassment is a phenomenon that can happen to anyone, except teenagers. Teenagers who become victims of sexual abuse have the potential to experience various psychological problems, including high levels of body shame. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the 'positive affirmation' mentoring program in reducing the level of body shame in adolescent victims of sexual disclosure in Mojokerto Regency. This study used a true- experimental design, two groups pretest-posttest, followed by 10 participants, divided into 5 participants for the experimental group and 5 participants for the control group. In this study, the researchers used two variables: the analysis of the 'positive affirmation' mentoring program and shame, which were then analyzed using the Mann-Whitney technique. The results of the analysis showed a p-value of 0.008, which means there is a difference in the level of body shame before and after the implementation of the mentoring program. These results indicate that the 'positive affirmation' mentoring program can effectively reduce the level of shame in adolescent victims of enlightenment, so it can be adapted and used in similar studies.
